Research shows that children of engaged parents perform better in school.
At BCA, we desire a close relationship with our parents. We incorporate frequent communication and we offer many ways for the parents to be a part of our educational program. Parents are encouraged to get involved. The following opportunities are available at BCA each year:
We desire to teach parents about the learning process. Curriculum nights are offered to show what students are expected to learn their current school year. Parent-teacher conferences are held multiple times of the year and are used to show student progress and clearly define the role of each member of the learning team. Student Support Teams consist of the parents, the student, the teacher/ staff at the school and any other personnel that support the student (ie: tutors, counselors, therapists, etc.).
By engaging the parents, we bring the community into the school as well. Community partnerships are critical to supporting the learning of our students.
