Fine Arts at Bethesda Christian Academy

Band
Students in grades 5-12 are given the opportunity to participate in beginning, intermediate, advanced and praise band. The musicians, directed by Mrs. Selena Sinclair present at least two band concerts each year. Dates for these performances may be obtained from our school Calendar.

Intermediate and Advanced band students have the opportunity to attend honors band workshops, ACSI and state band competitions.

Drama/Musical
Students in grades K-12 may participate in various musical events throughout the year.

• First through Fourth grade students will perform a fall or Christmas musical.
• Middle and high school students will perform various short skits, readings and plays throughout the school year.
• Students in grades 3-12 will have the opportunity to try out for our annual Talent Show which will be held in February.

Private Piano Lessons
Private music instruction is available after school hours. Students will participate in the ACSI music festival each March and prepare for a school recital each May. To obtain additional information about private piano lessons please contact Lauren Bryant.
