The Enrollment Process

Bethesda Christian Academy partners with Christian families to inform the student's mind, to affect the student's heart and to increase the student's personal talents as they seek to be an Ambassador for Christ. Families who desire to join the BCA team are encouraged to complete the following:

• Application:  Electronically complete the application forms from this page. Once all requested data has been completed, submit your application for processing.  A BCA staff member will be in contact with you to finalize your application.
• Payment:  Once you have completed the online application, a non-refundable registration fee will be required.
• Birth Certificate:  Upload a copy of the student's birth certificate via the online application at the time of application.
• Student Medical Immunization Records:  All new students applying for K5-8th grade must complete the online medical information section of the application and upload a copy of up to date immunization records provided by your physician.  In addition to the medical information provided in the application and the immunization record, all K5 students accepted to BCA will need to provide proof of a Kindergarten physical.  Your doctor will provide the NC Health Assessment Form for Kindergarten.  The form must be completed by your doctor and uploaded into the application portal.
• Report Card:  If applicable, upload a copy of the previous year final report card and the most recent year report card via the online application portal at the time of application.
• Admission Testing/Parent Interview:  After the BCA online application has been submitted, a BCA staff representative will contact you via phone to schedule a time to conduct educational testing and parent interviews.  This process will be completed simultaneously.  The testing and interview session should take approximately 30 minutes to complete.
• Student Confidential Evaluation:  (K5-8th grade) Upon completion of the online student application, you will be asked to submit the email address for your child's current preschool or school teacher.  
• Pastor Reference Form:  (K5-8th grade) Upon completion of the online student application, you will be asked to submit the email address of your child's pastor, children's pastor or small group leader. 
• New Parent Information Meeting:  At least one parent or guardian must attend a New Parent Informational Meeting.  This is only for new families to BCA.  Sibling families do not have to attend.  This meeting will be scheduled in early August.
• Student Handbook:  Parents are expected to review the BCA Student Handbook prior to beginning the application process.  This will allow parents and students an opportunity to understand and become familiar with established school policies and procedures.  The Student Handbook may be reviewed by clicking on the Student Handbook under the admissions or student tab.
